Base material: A105, A350 LF2, A694 F42-F70, AISI 4130, 30CrMo, SS304/304L, SS316/316L, SS410, F51, F55, WCB and LCB castings, forged materials, or pipe base materials.
Weld consumables: ERNiCrMo-3, ERNiFeCr-1, ER316L, ER2594, ERCCoCr-E, ERCCoCr-A, ERNi1, ERCuNi and other wires with a diameter of 1.2mm. Clad thickness: 1-3mm per layer for multilayer cladding; standard clad thickness is 3.2mm, with dilution (FL+2mm) below 5%.
Quality requirements: liquid penetrant testing per ASTM E165. Expected first-pass yield: 95% for intersection surface cladding, 98% for bore or flat surface cladding, and 96% for ring groove cladding.
Welding process: Automatic TIG hotwire;
Welding position: 2G or 1G typically.
Equipment Key Components
1. Automatic welding machine system: two-dimensional CNC motion guide covering work areas of 3m x 2.8m or 1.6m x 1.9m with effective travel, welding turntable, automatic water-cooled torch, and other components.
2. Welding power source system: powered by a TETRIX 452 DC pulse arc welding power supply from EWM AG, Germany, a TETRIX 200 SMART Hot Wire power source, and a self-developed water-cooled torch.
3. Automatic control system i-CLAD 100: main control cabinet, hand-held controller, ICON and MOONS servo control system, and CompactLogix 5370 controller.
4. Water cooling system: constant-temperature water cooling.
